FRANCESCA B OZZA STUDY GOD
BAR- tea room
Client Mr. Brita Marx at Luckenwalde, Germany, 2012.
The project involved the renovation of an old space in a building extending over three levels with a rectangular plan for a change of intended use.
The client requested a tea-room bar with a contemporary feel but which maintained some references to the ancient structure.
The studio created a space with an "industrial" flavor, with the elevator structure and the adjacent wall in concrete and the other side walls without windows with the original exposed brick. The furnishings change depending on the areas of the room, with the intention of also reusing elements and reducing the consumption of new products. Black stools and white chairs that take up the counter, and therefore the part of the bar. Wood-metal chairs and dark leather armchairs in agreement with wooden furniture for the tea-room.

The stairs surrounding the concrete structure of the elevator are made of recycled tempered glass. The lighting also uses pendant lamps of different origins and therefore also different for each room of the premises. Three different types of toilets have been designed, for children and large maneuvering spaces with swaddling clothes.
