Biophilic design: benefits and projects of architecture + nature

EXPERIMENTATIONS IN THE FIELD OF BIOPHILIA. CLASSROOMS, GREEN SPACES AND URBAN GARDENS.

Biophilic design is a design strategy that takes into account the spontaneous tendency of humans to perceive a sense of well-being when they are in a natural setting or where there is a large concentration of plant elements.

In addition to this feeling of well-being, cognitive and creative functions perform better within a natural context. Elements such as water, stone, plants and trees help humans produce a lower amount of "stress hormones" in every situation.
