ITP - INTERNATIONAL
TRAINING PROJECT
Support to the RUP in the framework of the International Training project at the ICR, the Central Institute for Restoration of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, 2016-2020
The program, coordinated by the Directorate General for Education and Research, involved institutes of excellence of the MiBAC: the Higher Institute for Conservation and Restoration, the Opificio delle Pietre Dure, the Central Institute for Cataloguing and Documentation, the National Institute for Graphics, the Piccolo Teatro of Milan and the Accademia Teatro alla Scala of Milan, in addition to the Carabinieri Command for the Protection of Cultural Heritage.
The ITP International Training Projects, launched in 2016, have included various training sectors: Conservation/Restoration, Knowledge of Cultural Heritage, Protection of Cultural Heritage, Music and Live Entertainment.
The teaching plans of the 107 total courses offered a different duration from one to eight weeks, including a wide range of topics and specialized areas.
The training offer prepared by ISCR within the ITP program includes thirty different specialized courses, mostly theoretical/practical, divided into two levels, intermediate and advanced, and dedicated to those who already work in the sector. The duration varies from one to several weeks up to a maximum of three.
